Meet the breeder

I'm Joni G., the breeder behind Cielo Havanese located in Rescue, CA.

Q. & A. with Joni

  • Why did you start breeding?

When searching for a new dog for our family, we found the Havanese. Once we got our first one we knew we needed another. And as they say, you can't have just one Havanese. After that, my mentor helped me show and learn about breeding.
  • What makes your program special?

I firmly believe in early socialization for all puppies before 14 weeks. I pride myself on providing the best environment for my puppies to thrive and grow into the best puppy they can be.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies are black and white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
