I'm Cindy R., the breeder behind Cindy’s Clever Canines (Havanese) located in Gladewater, TX. I'm a small breeder. All of my dogs double as my pets and live with me in the house as family most of the time. My dogs are selected to be bred for their amazing temperaments, appearance, and health. I love being a breeder. It's so fulfilling to have the opportunity to create companionship and love and to see the positive effect that a beloved, furry companion can have on its family!

  • Why did you start breeding?

    My dogs have brought so much happiness to me. I want to do my part to give my puppies a good life as well as spread the joy they provide with others. I really value the connections I form with my buyers and love to continue to watch my puppies grow up through their eyes!

  • What makes your program special?

    I take my role as a breeder seriously. When I bring a life into the world, I make sure it gets the best start possible. This includes proper health care and socialization for each puppy, but it starts even earlier than birth. I set my puppies up for success by carefully selecting the parents of each litter, keeping in mind factors such as health, temperament, ability, and the breed standard. My goal is to choose parents whose genes will bring out the best qualities in each other and produce well-balanced puppies.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include red and chocolate. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Cindy

Cindy has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.

Price

Puppy prices include a $300 non-refundable deposit and between $800 - $1,200 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“Included with your puppy are weekly updates via text, training advice for the life of the dog, the first round of puppy vaccines, multiple wormings, a puppy packet (AKC application), and a New Puppy gift bag. You may pay the deposit by cash, PayPal (friends and family), Zelle, CashApp, or by check.”

Contract & health guarantee

Cindy may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.
