I'm Cindy B., the breeder behind Cindy's Standard Schnauzers located in Aiken, SC. I produce pups that will continue to excel in their chosen field, whether that be working, showing, or as an active companion. My dogs are bred to produce healthy, sound, and versatile pups. My ultimate goal is to produce athletic and well-structured canines that can excel within various performance venues and have the ability to be wonderful family companions.

Why did you start breeding?
I am a selective program that focuses on temperament and the overall well-being of our dogs. I breed to produce happy and healthy puppies that can continue to excel in their forever homes as well as the show ring. It is an honor to represent this breed and create opportunities for others to experience the same joy that I've found in raising these wonderful dogs.What makes your program special?
I am a proud breeder of Standard Schnauzers and am so excited to share my love of them with the world. My heavy involvement in the show world speaks to the standards that I breed my dogs by. I will always stand behind my puppies.Where do your breeding dogs live?

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
Thyroid (Autoimmune Thyroiditis, registered with OFA)
A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.
Dilated Cardiomyopathy (Schnauzer Type)
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
