Meet the breeder

I'm Ann & Katherine K., the breeder behind Clarion Poodles located in Manteca, CA. I began breeding in the early '60s with over 200 AKC champions. #2 all-time leading Miniature breeder. My focus is on temperament & health.

Q. & A. with Ann & Katherine

  • Why did you start breeding?

I am second generation. My mother began breeding before I was born. I bred my first litter when I was 10. Barbie was my bed dog and best friend.
  • What makes your program special?

We have decades of dedicated knowledge of our breed. We are considered to be one of the last "families" of Miniature Poodles left in the breed. This gives us a rich foundation and perspective that we love to share with others. Our Miniature Poodle waitlist is currently closed but our toy poodle list is currently accepting applications.
  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

Our puppies are toy size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include black, brown, and cream. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

They live in my home and guardian homes.
