Meet the breeder
I'm Clare B., the breeder behind Clarriott Whippets & Cavapoos located in Kalamazoo, MI. I'm a breeder of carefully selected Whippets & Cavapoos. There is purpose in everything I do regarding my dogs, which includes careful selection of breeding dogs and extensive health testing. My goal is to produce healthy dogs with great temperaments that are exemplary representations of the breed.

Why did you start breeding?
I have been breeding since 1997, because I LOVE what I do. It is important to me not only that I preserve my own phenomenal bloodlines, but that I am improving these breeds with each litter and ensuring the well-being of these dogs for generations more to come! Healthy dogs who are of sound mind and soul are my musts.What makes your program special?
My puppies have a lifetime genetic health guarantee. I am an experienced breeder, and I take my role seriously. I keep a variety of factors in mind when choosing dogs to breed, including health, temperament, conformation, and complementary traits, so that puppies can inherit the best of both parents, providing the best to new owners, all backed by lifetime breeder support.What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Cavapoo puppies include toy and miniature sizes. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our Whippet puppies include white and blue, white and blue brindle, white and blue fawn, white and fawn, white and fawn brindle, white and black, red brindle, fawn brindle, fawn, blue fawn, black, blue brindle, blue, and black brindle. Cavapoo puppies include red, blenheim, and apricot. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?

Getting a puppy from Clare
Clare has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.
Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.
Price
Puppy prices include a $500 refundable deposit and between $2,500 - $4,000 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“Price includes a lifetime health guarantee, AKC limited registration for the whippets, microchip, lifetime enrollment in AKC's Reunite, current vaccines, a lifetime of breeder support, and a go-home pack. Do not send deposit until you have received a request from me. Specific puppies for homes will be advised when they are old enough to develop personalities. (usually about 7 weeks). You will receive a payment request, please do not pay before you receive the request and review our pricing policy.”

Clare may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
Patellar Luxation
Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.
Full Embark Panel, PRA, Rod-Cone Degeneration (PRA-prcd)
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).

It’s obvious Clare cares a great deal for her pups and does her best to match them to their people. She went above and beyond with communication with me, even doing live videos of the pups. She provided lots of information on the breed and proper care. We’re loving our puppy, who we named Albus. He’s a sweet playful snuggler. We recently got our baby girl from Clare (Clarriott Whippets). I reached out to her and she got back to me within the day, letting me know which of her whippets were still available. Clare was very responsive and always provided whatever info we needed. Communication was great all the way through. She offered to meet half way to deliver the puppies and that helped us with distance. She cares so much about her pups, which is always great to see. Our pups are beautiful and so smart, and we are all in love with them. We will keep in touch with her as she is such a great resource. Pups came home with a care package and a binder. We loved how organized she was with sending us our way with lots of great info. We love that our pups came from such an amazing and responsible breeder.

+5Clare was incredibly easy to work with. She let me FaceTime with her and the puppies early on, then kept me updated through the whole process. Once I picked my puppy she sent me frequent updates and even started using her name once I had chosen one. Clare clearly had already done a lot of work with the puppies prior to placing them because my puppy was already handling potty training and crate training very well and picked up on a few commends really quickly! My puppy is happy and healthy and beautiful!
