Q. & A. with Kristina

  • Why did you start breeding?

Coming from showing horses, quality matters in any program. It's more than just color, or what appeals to you instantly - there must be substance of conformation, breeding, health and temperament. We are a small but mighty program with a proven track record of supporting our owners like they are family and producing lifelong family members for them.
  • What makes your program special?

Full genetic testing , with two vets in the family, we believe in healthy, well adjusted dogs. At 4 weeks our pups get NeoPar, at 6 weeks and 8 weeks a 5 way shot and worming every 2 weeks from 2 weeks old on! Temperament matters for our pairs, as does conformation and creating BREED STANDARD in Pembroke Welsh Corgis! Pups receive a health inspection from an outside vet prior to departure
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include fawn, red, sable, and black and tan. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

They live in my home and a kennel on my property.

Kristina was very responsive from all the inquiries that we had from the very beginning to the end. She’s very knowledgeable and made sure to answer all the questions we had since this is the first time we’re having a corgi. Pick up was easy and she was very accommodating since we had a long drive back home. I highly recommend Kristina, you can tell she loves and takes good care of her corgis :)

Kristina at Clear Creek Corgis was fantastic to work with! From the start, she was responsive, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about her dogs. We recommend setting up a FaceTime call with her—she’s incredibly informative and happy to answer any questions. Kristina kept us updated with regular pictures and videos of Gwen as she grew, which made the wait so much easier. When it was time to bring Gwen home, she went above and beyond by providing supplies to ensure a smooth transition, along with detailed information like feeding schedules and care tips. Gwen is healthy, happy, and has a wonderful temperament, which shows how much Kristina cares about her dogs. We’re so grateful to her for helping us find the perfect addition to our family!

Where to begin! There's so much intentionality in Kristina's program, she really considers the temperament of her dogs to breed some of the most gentle, bright and all around wonderful dogs I've met. When we tragically lost our first CCC pup to a snake bite, Kristina really went above and beyond and treated us like family. When we were ready to adopt again she found us two absolutely perfect pups that were exactly what we were looking for, even giving us the pick of the litter! All of the dogs we've adopted from CCC have been such a joy, they really are the perfect companions. They are active but not hyper, gentle with kids, and light up any room with their bright little personalities- I can't recommend CCC enough!

We got our puppy from Clear Creek Corgi almost 2 years ago (his birthday is coming up!). Charlie Waffles has been a wonderful dog. He is healthy, active and has done well in our busy house of kids, cats, dogs and craziness. I had been hesitant about getting a puppy but her litter box training made life so easy. We used the litter box until he was able to hold his bladder for a few hours and it made house training relatively painless. It was such a good experience that we are considering adding another clear creek corgi to our family.

We couldn’t be happier with having chosen Kristina to deliver the corgi puppy of our dreams! We were well-researched and carefully selected Clear Creek. We highly recommend FaceTiming to meet Kristina - we felt completely confident and comfortable moving forward. She is transparent, honest, generous and responsible. She will send photo and video updates and make herself available when you develop questions. As first time puppy owners, she set us up for success. She also sends your puppy with the vaccine records and proof of genetic testing which is very important! We used her flight nanny and it was THE best decision. Corgi puppies are very expensive in NY area and it was very economical to use the flight nanny. Most importantly, our puppy Roger has an incredible disposition, personality and is SO cute. He learns very quickly and came with good foundation. He has brought so much joy to our family.
