I'm Debbie H., the breeder behind Clearview Canines located in Mooresville, NC. We offer beautiful family pets, who come socialized and well-loved! Our dogs are bred for health, utilizing DNA testing. They are also bred for temperament and manners. Our puppies come properly socialized using Puppy Culture.

Why did you start breeding?
I've been breeding dogs off and on for over 20 years. Through my journey as a breeder, I found Maltese and I am totally in love with them! They're so sweet and smart. Poodles are also a passion of mine. You can't beat the intelligence of these beautiful dogs! I might be biased, but I think they are simply the best!What makes your program special?
We use DNA testing to ensure that we do everything we can to avoid genetic diseases in our puppies. We use Puppy Culture to properly socialize our babies before they leave and set them up for the best life they could have!What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Poodle puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?

Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).

My daughter and I are convinced that our Maltese Cooper who died in Dec led us to Debbie. I tried to rescue an older Maltese but that did not work out . I knew I needed a fury guy in my life so I began my search on a Friday I saw Abercrombie ( my name for him) and knew he was the one. Debbie and I communicated that day . I committed on Saturday and on Sunday she met us half way . Abercrombie has been with me a month but it feels like he has been family for a long time . I could not have asked for a better experience. I enjoyed the process of working with Debbie through Good Dog. After picking up Snoopy and spending some time with him, I can tell he was well taken care of and treated kindly. You can tell Debbie cares deeply for dogs and is very professional. Even before it was time to pick him up, Debbie (at our request) sent us a video of the dog and that was very nice of her to do that. Snoopy has been a wonderful addition to our family.

Debbie, with Clearview Canines was amazing to work with. My husband and I chatted for a bit, held Piety for “a lot” and went over the paperwork in no time. Piety had his first Vet visit this past weekend where he passed. Although, Piety is the tiniest thing, at less than 2lbs. and almost four months, he is a little spitfire who doesn’t know when to stop until he’s sleepy. And everything works perfectly.
