Amanda H.
Red is doing amazing! He has already gained 12 pounds since he’s been with us. He is now available for adoption. If you want to check out the link, he has been health tested, and our vet says that he is healthy and ready to go. He will need some extra patience and care as he was not house trained and is not lease trained. I believe with a little bit of work he will be the greatest dog ever. He just needs some work with basic manners and training. Since being at our house, he has adapted very well to our routine, he is a very sweet boy.

This is Red/Rover he was from our litter last year. Unfortunately for him he is being brought back, no fault of his own. He is a year old and has his vaccinations. I will be taking him to the vet this week and if he gets a clean bill of health than he will be ready to be picked up.

About Clementine
Clementine is a female Golden Retriever almost 5 years old. Carefully selected as a great representative of her breed, Amanda decided to make her part of their program. Uploaded health tests
Good level
Clems Goldens reports to performing the health tests below on their breeding dogs. Ask your breeder about the tests performed on the parents of your litter. Learn more about health testing for Golden Retrievers.
Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
Ichthyosis, Golden Retriever Type
A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.
DNA Disease Panel, Neuronal Ceroid Lipofuscinosis 5 (NCL5), Golden Retriever Type, PRA, Rod-Cone Degeneration (PRA-prcd), PRA, Golden Retriever 2, PRA, Golden Retriever 1
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
Health testing is one key piece of responsible breeding and is performed on breeding dogs to prevent the presence of heritable conditions in their puppies.
