Lisa R.

Breeder of Bulldogs and French Bulldogs

Meet the breeder

I'm Lisa R., the breeder behind Clever Bulldogs located in Billings, MO. We are a husband and wife breeding program. Our babies are raised in our home. Our dogs are health tested. The goal we set and which we believe is still the most important, is to produce healthy puppies that make a well-rounded character in an adult dog.

Q. & A. with Lisa

  • Why did you start breeding?

My husbands truck driving partner mother bred Bulldogs and he learned it was hard to find breeders who put the health of the breed first over money. I was mentored by a breeder who had been breeding for a long time and learned from them.
  • What makes your program special?

I am a stay at home doggy momma. I share my babies from ultrasound until they go home. Our breeding program is an open book. We are here even after the babies go home and have many repeat puppy parents. We litter train our puppies with equine bedding (pine pellets) and start potty training at 6 weeks. We try to post lots of pics of the and live videos so people feel part of our puppies lives
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our Bulldog puppies include red brindle and white and red and white. French Bulldog puppies include brindle, cream, and fawn. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
