Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia (rDVM, not registered)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.

Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.

Everything went well with Jacob Flores from Coastal's Miniature American Shepherds. I picked up Toby on Friday 13th since I am not superstious of that date in any way. The hand off went very smooth one could tell Jacob really loves his dogs and it showed. Toby and I had an adventure on the way home, he travels ok in a pet carrier, still is fighting his harness and leash but is getting better each day. I am very happy with my new family member and so are my wife and daughter Toby sleeps with me every night not a peep out of him all night.
