Clifford is very knowledgeable and answered all of our questions promptly! We went over to their house to see their puppies and it is very clean and you can tell how much care these pups get before they find their forever home. Communication was excellent the whole time from inquiring about corgis to deposit to picking up our puppy! The level of care, knowledge of the corgi breed is unmatched! We are so happy with our new member of our family!

I discovered GoodDog.com completely by chance after several failed attempts at adopting a shelter dog. I knew a Corgi would be the right fit for our family, but I knew very little about the American Corgi specifically. When I saw our puppy’s profile on Good Dog, everything changed. The very first thing that caught my attention were his striking features — the beautiful blue eyes, the fluffy sable-merle coat, and the distinctive black-and-pink nose I had never seen before. His expression, his markings, his classic Corgi pout… it stopped me in my tracks. I instantly felt that he was something special. As I looked through Coldwater Creek Farm’s photos and descriptions, it became clear that their priorities extend far beyond producing “cute puppies.” Their program is intentional. They focus on breeding healthy, confident American Corgis that bring together the best of both worlds: the bright, happy-go-lucky, social personality of the Pembroke and the calmness, loyalty, and emotional steadiness of the Cardigan. After bringing Schnitzel home, I can confidently say they succeeded. Despite his playful and rambunctious spirit, Schnitzel has a Cardigan-like groundedness. He is not anxious or fearful. He is eager, adaptable, confident, and joyful — the perfect balance of spirited fun and emotional steadiness. I was honestly shocked by how quickly he settled in and bonded with us, which speaks volumes about how well these puppies are raised. I kept teasing Coldwater Creek Farm that I could never compete with the variety of toys, enrichment, and activities their puppies experience before going home. They truly expose their litters to a rich environment — toys, textures, sounds, play structures, other dogs, and consistent people time. It shows in their behavior. Communication was excellent from the very beginning. Clifford and his family were warm, responsive, accommodating, and proactive. They sent regular photo updates and stayed in frequent contact. One moment that really impressed me: after interviewing me and my sons, they decided Schnitzel was the perfect match for us, even though another family had submitted an application right after mine and could have picked him up (and paid) much sooner. Instead of choosing convenience, they chose the right home. They even held Schnitzel for over a month so I could finish several trips and be fully prepared to welcome him home. That level of care is rare. They also made it very clear that if anything unexpected ever happened, Schnitzel is to return to them — another sign of a reputable breeder who stands by their dogs for life. But as I told my youngest son, Schnitzel is ours forever. We waited over 10 years to welcome the right dog into our home, and he has been worth every second of that wait. This is, without question, the smartest purchase I have ever made. We are absolutely thrilled with Schnitzel, and honestly, I wouldn’t be surprised if in a year or two we return to Coldwater Creek Farm for a brother to join our little pack. Their puppies are truly exceptional, and our experience has been nothing short of wonderful. Highly, highly recommended!!! Best. Decision. Ever. 🐾❤️😍
