I'm Cera O., the breeder behind Colorado Springs Akitas located in Colorado Springs, CO. Our dogs are our pets and our family. We guarantee our puppies for one year and send all of our puppies home with their first round of vaccines, dewormings, and a health check from our vet. We encourage socialization from the very beginning and also spay or neuter to ease temperament. It is our passion to responsibly breed, raise, and socialize healthy and happy puppies so that others can enjoy the gift of living life with an Akita!

Why did you start breeding?
I was 8 years old when my Dad brought home my family's first Akita and I have been hooked on the breed ever since. We got into breeding because we love our dogs and hope to spread some of the majestic traits of the Akita with our neighbors and loved ones.
What makes your program special?
What makes us different from other programs is that we are not breeding for income and we are not breeding for show. They are our family, and our concerns are only that they are healthy and grow up in safe loving homes. If you are looking for registered dogs to train and show we are not the breeders for you, but we do pride ourselves in producing top-quality beloved family companions.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Cera

Cera has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.

Price

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and $700 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“Also included are a 1-year health guarantee, 1st round of vaccines, dewormings, and a health checkup. All of our puppies are the same price. Dogs do require a deposit which is protected through PayPal so you have peace of mind that your funds are safe throughout the transaction.”

Contract & health guarantee

Cera may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.
