I'm Mary S., the breeder behind Arrowleaf Corgis located in Idaho. Our dogs are our pets first so even temperaments are a must. With that said, we handle our puppies on a daily basis, getting them used to different feels, sounds, and smells. Our puppies are raised in our home around people of various ages. Before planning a breeding, I like having homes lined up so I can give my puppies the best chance at a happy life. Message me and let's start a dialogue on what you're looking for and your experience.

Touch training while eating! One of the important parts of our program is early socialization, and this part begins at mealtime. While they are eating, we gently pet, handle, and interact with each puppy. This helps them learn that human touch is a positive experience, even when they are focused on something valuable like food. It also desensitizes them so they are well used to others in their space during food time. Regular handling during meals helps build confidence, creates positive associations with people, and allows us to correct any early signs of guarding behaviors. The puppies learn to accept being touched on their head, ears, back, feet, and body while remaining relaxed and comfortable! Added bonus, we get to pet these puffballs all the more!😍 At 4 weeks old, this litter of 10 is doing very well with the transition to solid food. They are enthusiastic eaters, gaining weight, and are becoming increasingly social and confident with daily handling and interaction! I am very pleased with how this litter is growing!

Grooming the babies today! Getting rid of dried puppy mush in fur is so much easier with a little comb. This also gets them desensitized to brushing early on. They enjoyed their one on one tummy scratches as well!

2026 litter of ten eating their first solids Today they tasted their first solids! When I say they were ready for this, I mean READY! No hesitation, no tipping around it, ALL the puppies dove in and started lapping it up! You can hear them slurping the mush and taking it all in. There were some that decided standing in the middle was the optimal position for maximum eating, getting all four paws and their tummies in it. Some went for the stuff spilled on the towel instead of eating off the plate. All were satisfied after!

About Coco
Coco is the sweetest girl with an absolutely lovely temperament. She has just enough spunk and confidence to take on our flock of sheep and help move them along, while still having a wonderfully calm and affectionate side. She loves being close to her people and is always happy to settle in for cuddles. Coco enjoys people of all ages, but she especially loves children and is always ready for playtime with them. Coco has been shown for one show weekend so far, and we hope to get her back into the ring again soon. Her hips have been PennHIP certified, and her results have also been submitted to OFA for their records.

About Barrett
Grand Champion sired and AKC pointed, Barrett is not only a beautiful boy, but a very sweet one as well. He has strong natural herding instincts and works our sheep with a softer style, often using his nose and body to move them rather than relying on biting or barking. Barrett has earned several Winners Dog placements as well as Best of Opposite Sex, and we are excited to see what the future holds for him in the show ring. Barrett is available at stud to approved females.

About Nyx
DM, VWD, PRA-RCD3 Clear EIC Carrier OFA GOOD (Prelimenary) Normal Eyes Nyx follows after her mother Nova. She is our mellow, sweet companion girl. She is more independant than her mom but loves to be by our side and loves her human kids. She has a lovely topline and I love her front. We are pleased to see that she has prelims back rated Good! Both mother and father are rated Good and I am so happy to see she shows nice hip conformation early on.

About Nova
Nova is one of the sweetest dogs I have ever owned or met. She is affectionate and mild tempered, lower drive but still playful. She enjoys laying her head on me and thinks she is a lap dog. Her favorite thing in the whole world is babies. She loves human babies, puppies, and even tries to care for our bottle lambs.

Mary is very knowledgeable and a responsible breeder. My previous corgi had DM and I knew I wasn't going to go through that with another dog. I was specifically looking for breeders who were breeding responsibly. The fact that Mary advertised the genetic and health tests of her dogs up front in the ad is what convinced me to reach out, besides the beauty of the pups available. Mary was great to work with and I was not disappointed with the quality of puppy I picked out.

Mary was kind, considerate, and great to work with. She kept me updated with my pup’s life through daily pictures and videos. I felt like I was watching Teemo grow up and get ready to come home. She made everything easy, so I could focus on getting my new one home.
