Tyler K.

Breeder of Golden Retrievers

Meet the breeder

I'm Tyler K., the breeder behind Continued Traditions Farmstead located in Pennsylvania. Our breeding program started with one small litter that turned into a fulfilling, lifelong passion! We believe there’s no greater joy than providing families with companions that share unconditional love no matter what.

Q. & A. with Tyler

  • Why did you start breeding?

A breeder reached out to us knowing we were looking to adopt a Golden. The breeder knew of a 9 y.o. rescue who had been passed from home to home after being retired from breeding. Flynn spent his last 9 months showered in our love and comfort. Losing him changed our lives and now we want to provide that connection to other families.
  • What makes your program special?

We do it out of passion; breeding is not our income. Quality and animal husbandry are our priorities. Our breeder mentor provides service dogs to PTSD veterans and we wish to give back in a similar way. We strive for constant improvement. I am currently learning from Dr Ian Dunbar; I want to awe people at how well our dogs have been trained by simply using our voices (no leash jerks, no bribing etc
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies are golden. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

They live in my home and guardian homes.
