Q. & A. with Becky

  • Why did you start breeding?

Steve got me my first Dane about 23 years ago and the obsession has continued to grow from there. They are the best breed ever! In 2014 we established Cook’s Gentle Giants and started my dream of breeding Great Danes. We breed for confirmation and temperament we love all colors of the Great Dane but always strive to produce quality over color! We currently have 4 Danes all together. About 2 of the three acres is fenced in for them to have to run and play. We have been breeding for 8 years and have had 7 litters now we only do one litter a year our female that is retired now gave us our first 4 beautiful litters. She will now live out her life here spoiled rotten. Our dogs are always with us in the house along with our puppies. We take pride in a clean, relaxing and loving atmosphere for all our Danes with plenty of indoor and outdoor space!
  • What makes your program special?

Our program is special because we but individual time into each puppy and make sure that that are raised the best way possible. We evaluate each to be sure that they are as healthy as possible to ensure that you get a happy healthy puppy. We do a lot of socializing and interacting with different things either puppies as well as being around our adult dogs so they can socialize with them. We strive on delivering quality family pets that will fill your hear and home with unconditional love and loyalty.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include fawn, harlequin, mantle, merle, and black. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
