I'm MaKayla E., the breeder behind Corgis of the Mountain Valley located in Valley, WA. The health of our dogs always comes first. We're committed to ethical breeding & a continued effort to enhance the breed standard. Over the years we’ve learned valuable methods for socializing our puppies. Why did you start breeding?
My aunt has been mentoring me and I have been watching her and observing her over the last couple years and I fell in love with American corgis and decided I would love to breed them so everyone can have such a unique color and loving breed 🥰What makes your program special?
I believe my program is special because I have such a passion for breeding corgis and I love the breed. I live on a very big farm and my dogs get a lot of exposure to the sounds of horses, ATVS, heavy machinery, and more while outside in their play area.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

About Zuri Zenobia
Zuri Zenobia is a female Pembroke Welsh Corgi. Carefully selected as a great representative of her breed, MaKayla decided to make her part of their program. MaKayla has passed Good Dog’s screening process, which involved a review of their breeding practices, environment, and the mental and physical health of their dogs.

DNA Disease Panel, Degenerative Myelopathy (DM; SOD1A), Exercise Induced Collapse (EIC)
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
