Meet the breeder

I'm Corinna E., the breeder behind Corinna's Poodles located in Whitehall, MT. Our dogs are bred to have top qualities that all families want in their puppies, such as compassion, patience, and love! We fell in love with the personality and temperament of our dogs right from the start. Once you’ve owned a Poodle, you’ll never again want to be without one!

Q. & A. with Corinna

  • Why did you start breeding?

We fell head over heals in love with the loving goofy personalities as well as their intelligence. When we discovered the ease of training with Oliver, we decided we desperately wanted to share that with other disabled veterans. Our goal is to donate at least 1 puppy per litter to programs which train and provide service dogs, free of charge to veterans. And that is our sole purpose for deciding to breed healthy disease free poodles in order to share our experience with the world.
  • What makes your program special?

Our dogs share our home and our lives 100% of the time. Well rounded, well manner, well loved dogs are the utmost importance. We have verified with DNA testing and imaging that our animals should be able to live a long full, disease free life. Puppies are brought up with as much exposure to people and other animals as possible.
  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

Our puppies are standard size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include black, parti, and brindle. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Good level

Corinna's Poodles reports to performing the health tests below on their breeding dogs. Ask your breeder about the tests performed on the parents of your litter. Learn more about health testing for Standard Poodles.

  • Hip Dysplasia

Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.

  • Patellar Luxation

Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.

  • Sebaceous Adenitis (SA)

A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.

  • Degenerative Myelopathy (DM; SOD1A), PRA, Rod-Cone Degeneration (PRA-prcd), DNA Disease Panel

Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
