Meet the breeder

I'm Kim B., the breeder behind Corntassle Corgis located in Vonore, TN. We have a small, limited breeding program. Our puppies are raised on a working farm located in the foothills of the Smoky Mountains in East Tennessee. All of our dogs are kept in our homes and are treated like family members. They have a large, fenced area for daily exercise and receive regular vet checks. We also have Cowboy Corgis and Blue heelers that are not used for breeding. Our dogs are well adjusted to other animals and very social with people of all ages. We strive to offer healthy, well-adjusted puppies that will give many years of enjoyment to loving families.

Q. & A. with Kim

  • Why did you start breeding?

I have bred several different breeds over the years but got out of breeding dogs when my cattle herd started requiring more of my time. After I lost my husband to Covid I purchased my corgis for companions. This led to a renewed interest in breeding dogs.
  • What makes your program special?

My program is very small, and this gives me the luxury of indulging my animals. They want for nothing and are given the best of care.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our Pembroke Welsh Corgi puppies include red and black and tan. American Corgi puppies include black and tan and blue merle and white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
