I'm Sara K., the breeder behind Country Lane Doodles located in Erda, UT. Country Lane Doodles Utah raises healthy, confident puppies in our home with health-tested parents, purposeful socialization, ENS/ESI, sound and grooming desensitization, and early potty and crate-training foundations. We support our families from first inquiry through life with their puppy.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    My journey into breeding grew from my lifelong love of dogs and my experience working in a veterinary hospital. After raising my family, I reached a season of life where I had the time and space to pursue that passion more fully. Breeding lets me combine my experience with my love of canine health, temperament, and responsible care while helping families find wonderful companions.

  • What makes your program special?

    Our program combines health-tested parents, thoughtful pairings, Puppy Culture, ENS/ESI, sound and grooming desensitization, enrichment, and early potty and crate-training foundations. Puppies are raised in our home with hands-on family care, and we take time to know each puppy’s personality, temperament, and energy level so we can help families choose the companion that best fits their lifestyle.

  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

    Our Bernedoodle puppies include tiny and mini sizes. Goldendoodle puppies include petite and standard sizes. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our Bernedoodle puppies include chocolate merle, black and white, tri-color, phantom, and blue merle. Goldendoodle puppies are red. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home and guardian homes.

Getting a puppy from Sara

Sara has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

After buyers complete the application and screening process, Sara partners with them to find the best puppy match.

“Choosing the right puppy is an important decision, and I believe the best matches come from combining my knowledge of each puppy with your knowledge of your family and lifestyle. Prospective families complete an application so I can learn more about their home, experience, expectations, and what they are looking for in a companion. As the puppies grow, I spend a great deal of time getting to know their individual personalities, temperaments, energy levels, and unique traits. I share those observations and offer honest recommendations about which puppies may be the best fit for your lifestyle. When it is time to choose, the final decision belongs to the approved buyer. I encourage open communication throughout the process and am always happy to answer questions or discuss the differences between puppies. My goal is to help each family make an informed, confident choice while placing every puppy in a loving, responsible, permanent home.”

Price

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit that secures a specific puppy. The remaining $3,000 - $4,000 is due before pickup, plus applicable taxes and fees.

“Our pricing reflects the care behind every puppy, including parent health testing, vet checks, deworming, microchipping, age-appropriate vaccines, early socialization, and loving home-raised care. A $500 non-refundable deposit reserves your specific puppy and is applied toward the total purchase price. The remaining balance is due before or at pickup.”

Sara may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.     Our experience with Sara and Country Lane Doodles was simply the best! We got Boone, a Cavapoo, at 10 weeks and he already had such a great head start with training and socialization. He’s so well tempered, amazing with our kids and incredibly smart. We used a flight nanny since we live in a different state and the experience was seamless. Sara communicated every step of the way and was quick to respond to any questions we had. She provided a wonderful puppy starter kit that was an absolute life saver, as well as a great recommendation list of items to purchase. Since this was our first dog, it was incredibly helpful.     I can't thank the breeder enough for teaching our puppy - Finn ( who is Muffin now) so much at such a young age. It truly shows her incredible dedication and determination to give her puppies the best start possible. It's clear he was well cared for from the beginning. He was a little shy at first, but he adjusted beautifully once he received all the attention, care, and love. He's already potty trained and sleeps on a consistent schedule.
