I'm Gillian K., the breeder behind Country Pearls Goldens located in Holyoke, CO. This is not a kennel, this is a home environment where the puppies and our dogs are part of our family. Our females are always vet cleared before they are bred to ensure they are healthy and ready for another litter. Our kids work with our dogs along side us and help with the puppies as well.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    As I stated before, I am a third-generation breeder. My parents bred Golden Retrievers and once you go Golden, you can’t live without them. I breed to better the breed. I am passionate about genetic testing and making sure I do my best to produce pups that will live long, healthy, and happy lives. Puppy Culture is a must for us. We make sure to get puppies ready for new homes as much as we can.

  • What makes your program special?

    I voluntarily genetically test both dam and sire. All mandatory testing is done as well. My girls are bred once a year or less and are treated like queens in the process. I raise my pups in-home as my own and all go through the Puppy Culture program. My kids are a big part of socializing my puppies. I match puppies with families. They go home socialized and ready to think new situations through.

Puppy prices include a $500 refundable deposit and $2,500 final payment, before taxes & fees.

Contract & health guarantee

Gillian may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.   • Hip Dysplasia

    Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.

  • Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)

    Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.

  • Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)

    Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.

  • Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)

    Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
