I'm Jennifer H., the breeder behind Country Road Homestead located in Morrison, TN. Country Road Homestead is a working homestead with a small breeding program that focuses on the health and happiness of our dogs. Our program is focused on producing well adjusted dogs excel as a family dog as well as therapy and service dogs. We are passionate about giving back to the community and often donate puppies to veterans in need. We would love for you to learn more about puppy life at the Country Road Homestead!

Why did you start breeding?
When my daughter was in an accident we wanted an animal companion to support her recovery. We found a registered AKC Poodle and fell in love with the temperament and loving character of the breed. Four years later we had our first litter and are constantly trying to bring joy into other's lives.What makes your program special?
All our puppies are raised indoors and our adult dogs are health tested. We strive to create an easy and honest customer experience and will find a Poodle that fits your needs and goals. Our puppy curriculum is used at every stage of puppy development creating puppies that are confident and trainable. We understand that each puppy is different, and focus on them individually providing the tools so they can adapt to their new family.What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our puppies are standard size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?

Getting a puppy from Jennifer
Jennifer has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.
Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.
Price
Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $1,300 - $2,300 final payment, before taxes & fees.
“All puppies are the same price, regardless of color or sex. They will come up to date on shots, microchipped, wormed, Vet checked, health guaratee, and limited registration well socialized and ready for a new life. All depostits are to hold your place. The amount paid will de deducted from the final price of the puppy. Deposits are nonrefundable but we do try to work with our clients and will move a deposit to a future litter in the event you can take the puppy for whatever reason.”
Contract & health guarantee
Jennifer may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. Jennifer has passed Good Dog’s screening process, which involved a review of their breeding practices, environment, and the mental and physical health of their dogs.

Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
