I'm Sheryl K., the breeder behind Countryside Standard Poodles located in Manchester, MI. We are a small breeder in a beautiful rural community. Our Poodles are bred to qualify to show, become service dogs, do agility and become excellent family pets. They are from health tested Spanish American European Championship pedigrees. We raise them in our home with Love.
Q. & A. with Sheryl
Why did you start breeding?
I Showed Birman cats for over 20 years so when I breed Standard Poodles I strive for that perfect Poodle to the AKC Standards. I appreciate the work it takes in the show world. My pedigrees are that of many breeders hard work of showing to Championship in the USA, Spain and Europe.
What makes your program special?
Our Puppies are raised in our home with Love. We potty box train our puppies starting at 3 to 4 wks old. They are introduced to professional grooming equipment early to imprint them so that their life of grooming is non stressful.
They are raised with children and frequent visitors to make sure they are well socialized.
What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our puppies are standard size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home and a kennel on my property.
