Why did you start breeding?
We began breeding Cane Corsos as part of my husband's lifelong dream to own one himself. Our search for one took us 9 hours away from home to upper Michigan in order to bring home our sire. That journey sparked our passion to raise and share this loyal, protective, intelligent, and loving breed with other families in our region and beyond.What makes your program special?
Our breeding program is special because it comes from our hearts. We raise our Cane Corsos as part of our family and home, not a puppy mill. Every puppy is loved and cared for as if they were staying with us forever. Our goal is for each one to mean as much to your family as they do to ours. We are dedicated to finding them their forever home!What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include black and fawn. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?

After buyers complete the application and screening process, Melissa partners with them to find the best puppy match.

Ziva has been a lap dog from day one. She has the sweetest eyes and is very in tuned to her human family. She will ring a bell for her needs and is able to communicate what it is she wants. She enjoys sitting on her family's lap, ice cubes, and playing fetch. Ziva is surrounded by 5 kids daily and does wonderfully. She is ICCF registered with all the recommended health checks.

Zander is a gentle natured but astutely protective king. He enjoys good pets, playing chase with his wife, and wrestling then cuddling with Cody (breeder). Zander is surrounded by 5 kids daily and does wonderfully. He is ICCF registered with all the recommended health checks.
Parent health testing
Good level

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
Vet Wellness Exam
A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.
