I'm Rachel S., the breeder behind Coweeman Catahoulas located in Washington. We are huge animal lovers and have a special place in our hearts for our dogs. We want to provide top-quality beloved companions. We are home-based breeders dedicated to bringing healthy, loving, and high-quality Catahoulas into the homes and hearts of their forever families. We love our dogs and are passionate about raising our puppies to be the best family companions.

Why did you start breeding?
My love for the Catahoula is what started my breeding program.What makes your program special?
Our puppies are in a clean environment and we never have more litters than we can properly care for at one time. All of our puppies receive Early Neurological Stimulation starting at three days old. They are kept in our home and are part of our family until they go home with you.Where do your breeding dogs live?

Rachel has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.

Price
Puppy prices include a $200 non-refundable deposit and $1,200 final payment, before taxes & fees.

Rachel may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. +5Rachael made this process so easy. I drove 11 hours from Montana to pick up our Rosie. Rachael was super accommodating with an early morning pick up so we could make the 11 hour drive back home. Our Rosie is smart, bold and of course beautiful! All the amazing typical traits are there to see even as a pup. As far as a hunting companion she is already showing she has what it takes to go just about any direction. As a family dog.. we couldn’t have asked for a better temperament.

Rachel was very quick to respond to my interest and questions when we first were looking for a pup! She was very helpful and a joy to work with once we decided we wanted one of her beautiful puppies! We cannot express enough how thankful we are we chose one from her litter! Our pup is so beautiful! She is the sweetest and kindest dog we have ever owned. She is only under 7 months old but she is the most intelligent dog. She already knows her job in our family and does it so well! She protects my children when out exploring or when strangers drive up our driveway, she runs to protect the kids until she knows everything is ok. These are the most loving and loyal dogs, VERY intelligent and gorgeous! Everyone comments on how kind and beautiful our Catahoula is. When we picked up our puppy we knew right away how well treated and loved these dogs were. I cannot recommend Rachel and her puppies from Coweeman Catahoulas enough! We are so in love and our children adore our Catahoula!

Rachel and her family did a wonderful job of breeding and raising our new puppy, Boone. From the moment we picked him up, we were struck by how loving their family was, and how well adjusted and happy the puppy we adopted is. Boone has been a joyful addition to our family and everywhere we go, people comment on how confident, friendly and beautiful he is. We're working hard to establish good habits and we're all learning together- he is working to adjust to our family life, and we to understand what his needs are. Rachel gave us some good tips on commands that she's been using, and steered us to some great training videos. All in all, it's been a wonderful experience, and we feel blessed by having this sweet, smart, and hilarious pup join our family.
