I'm Rachel S., the breeder behind Coweeman Catahoulas located in Washington. We are huge animal lovers and have a special place in our hearts for our dogs. We want to provide top-quality beloved companions. We are home-based breeders dedicated to bringing healthy, loving, and high-quality Catahoulas into the homes and hearts of their forever families. We love our dogs and are passionate about raising our puppies to be the best family companions.

Why did you start breeding?
My love for the Catahoula is what started my breeding program.What makes your program special?
Our puppies are in a clean environment and we never have more litters than we can properly care for at one time. All of our puppies receive Early Neurological Stimulation starting at three days old. They are kept in our home and are part of our family until they go home with you.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

+5Rachael made this process so easy. I drove 11 hours from Montana to pick up our Rosie. Rachael was super accommodating with an early morning pick up so we could make the 11 hour drive back home. Our Rosie is smart, bold and of course beautiful! All the amazing typical traits are there to see even as a pup. As far as a hunting companion she is already showing she has what it takes to go just about any direction. As a family dog.. we couldn’t have asked for a better temperament.

Rachel is a phenomenal breeder. You can tell she spends so much time playing with their ears and paws and social interaction with her children which I believe is a secret ingredient to raising such well tempered puppies. Rachael kept me up to date on the puppies and shares many photos and videos throughout the process. I have already referred her to two other people who love Cathoulas. When I picked up Walter (Pepper) he came with a little draw string bag with some food, treats, a toy, leash, collar, blanket and other goodies. Walter is such a lover; this puppy has been truly amazing and you really can see superior genetics and nurturing has made these puppies a #1 choice for anyone interested in Catahoulas!

Rachel was super responsive and stayed in touch throughout the process. She sent regular updates and pictures for us to see the puppy.
