I'm Kenny C., the breeder behind Creek Danes located in Boyne City, MI. Our high-quality Great Danes are the result of extensive research and thorough care for our outstanding dogs and puppies. We are a selective breeding program that focuses on temperament and the overall well-being of our dogs. We breed to produce happy and healthy puppies that can continue to thrive in their forever homes.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    After owning several AKC Champions and being mentored by the great Kay Scholl.
  • What makes your program special?

    We are preservation breeders, keeping the Great Dane as close to the standard as possible. Our puppies are raised in our home, have great socialization, and early neurological stimulation. Your puppy comes to you ready to be a great part of your family.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include blue and black. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home and a kennel on my property.

Getting a puppy from Kenny

Kenny has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

Kenny partners with buyers to find the best match as the puppies develop and their personalities take shape. Typically, matches are finalized when the puppies reach about 7 weeks old.

Puppy prices include a $100 refundable deposit and $2,300 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“The price includes Health Guarantee, AKC papers, first round of vaccinations, and wormed. Our puppies are all the same price. You do have the option of adding cropping for $600.”

  • Hip Dysplasia

    Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.

  • Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)

    Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.

  • Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)

    Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.

  • Thyroid (Autoimmune Thyroiditis, registered with OFA)

    A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.
