I'm Taylor W., the breeder behind Creme De La Creme Corgis located in Clever, MO. My goal is to produce quality Corgi companions and to continue improving the line with each generation. I take my job seriously, knowing that my puppies will become someone's beloved pet. Each puppy is considered a member of my family, and I ensure they are socialized, healthy, and prepared to excel in their forever homes. My dogs are bred for those specifics, and I take pride in my breeding program. All of my adults are health tested for Degenerative Myelopathy (DM), Von Willebrand's Disease type 1 (VWD1), Exercise Induced Collapse (EIC), T-Locus (Natural bobtail) and two types of coat affecting genes. D-Locus (Dilute or Bluie) and Fluffy (Long Coat) D-Locus and Fluffy do not affect a dogs health whatsoever however they are considered a fault in AKC Shows for Confirmation. I happen to love fluffies because they do shed just a little less than standard coats and bluies because of their uniqueness. I do not claim to be a preservation breeder only a knowledgeable breeder who is seeking to share the love of happy, healthy, beautiful, Pembroke Welsh Corgis. All of my dogs are AKC registered. OFA health testing for Hips, elbows, and cardiac is currently in progress. It was halted last year due to COVID and I am currently waiting on my vet to reschedule. I am State and AKC licensed and Inspected.
Q. & A. with Taylor
Why did you start breeding?
I grew up in a breeder household. My mother has raised Yorkshire Terriers for nearly 30 years as well as having been a vet tech for 27 years. I've grown up learning the ins and outs of dog healthcare, kennel management, and disease control. I have been involved with Corgis from a very young age. I received my first Corgi at 11 years old, and have been head over heels for them ever since. It is an honor to represent this breed and create opportunities for others to experience the same joy that I've found in raising these wonderful dogs.
What makes your program special?
Health testing is the most important thing to me when breeding. I strive to breed healthy, quality pups that can fit any lifestyle. I take pride in raising well-tempered and socialized puppies who can excel in work, show, or as beloved companions.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include fawn, red, sable, blue, and black and tan. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

About Chorizo
Chorizo is a sweet and spicy sausage. I'm not talking about the food either. She loves playing with her human siblings as well as her Lab sister Bailey. Chorizo is a very quick learner, sweetheart to all animals and people she meets, and just so stinking smart! She likes to be sassy and demand cuddles, pets, and playtime.
Good health testing
Exercise Induced Collapse (EIC), von Willebrand Disease I (vWD I), +1 more.

What a great experience! Taylor was patient and knew exactly which puppy to match to our family. Our little guy is sweet, goofy, and extremely well-socialized, and he fit seamlessly into our home. We couldn't be happier!

This has been a wonderful experience… the pup is adorable, or in the words of her new vet, “she’s a Cracker Jack”! She is healthy and extremely stable and smart. The transportation details were all taken care of by Taylor and went off without a hitch. All in all, I recommend Crème de la Crème Corgis without reservation!
Health testing is one key piece of responsible breeding and is performed on breeding dogs to prevent the presence of heritable conditions in their puppies.
