I'm Nancy R., the breeder behind Creme de la Poodle, standard poodles located in Stephentown, NY. We are a small home-based breeder, breeding healthy pups for loving families and individuals for pet and sport. We offer top-quality puppies! We have done our due diligence to produce excellent quality, healthy, intelligent, trainable puppies with great temperaments, ensuring both parents have been health certified and have verifiable OFA and PennHIP certifications. Why did you start breeding?
Responsible, ethical breeders play an important role in the future of the dog ecosystem. Our goal is to breed quality puppies and preserve the line of these incredible companions. We have always loved the breed we work with and are excited to share them with the dog community.
What makes your program special?
All of our puppies are bred, raised, and loved indoors to produce happy and healthy pets. Our dogs make great devoted family dogs with beautiful coats, excellent balance, and fantastic overall health. We love what we do and can't wait to talk with you and your family more about our program!
What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our puppies are standard size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include apricot, black, blue, brown, cream, and red. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

Nancy has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.

Puppy prices include a $150 deposit and between $1,600 - $2,600 final payment, before taxes & fees.

Lily is growing like a weed. Such a pretty girl. Consistently uses pee pad, goes in crate on her own. Will be starting leashwork soon. Being exposed to all kinds of new things. Her vet ck up is coming up soon. The techs love puppies! Such fun!

Pregnancy is verified by ultrasound and xray. We have more people on waitlist than there will be puppies, so this litter is spoken for.

Our next litter planned is Phoenix x Berta! Most likely will be end of june due date. Berta is finishing up her health certifications this month.
Phoenix and Jade both qualified for CPE Agility Nationals, end of May and early June. So excited about this! We have been trialing amost every weekend getting ready for it.
Phoenix has also been doing really well working on his AKC PACH, Preferred Agility Champion. Very pleased with his double Q's and points.

We only have the 1 boy left. Super smart, fun loving, people focused, but he doesn't seem to mind being alone. This could be a good thing if he is an only dog. He will start sleeping in a crate tonight.

Jade is a blue standard poodle who has multiple agility CPE titles, her CGC, and CGC advanced. She has personality plus, confident, very athletic and is incredible intelligent. She loves being groomed. She is on the smaller side at 45 lbs. RETIRED from breeding, still competing in Agility level C. Working toward CATE.

Berta is the best! She has a great personality, super smart, sweet and lots of fun. She competes in lower level agility because she is teaching an older man who is new to agility how to compete. It takes a special dog to be as helpful as she is.
She was also a wonderful mom to her first litter spring 2025.

Phoenix is a red Standard Poodle, proven sire of multiple litters of healthy, happy standard poodles.
He is a loyal, devoted family member who is happiest with his people. He also enjoys agility and has numerous CPE ans AKC titles. He is currently competing at level C, the highest CPE level, having completed 2 C-ATCH titles, and he has multiple AKC Agility titles, competing at the master level, working toward his PACH.

Creme de la Poodle, standard poodles reports to performing the health tests below on their breeding dogs. Ask your breeder about the tests performed on the parents of your litter. Learn more about health testing for Standard Poodles.
Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia (Preliminary)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Thyroid (Autoimmune Thyroiditis, registered with OFA)
A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.
