I'm Lauretta H., the breeder behind Crooked Tree Ranch located in Richardton, ND. We occasionally offer AKC Miniature Schnauzers raised to breed standard and in our home. We handle them with love and care from birth, and start every single one on house training and crate training.

What makes your program special?
We think our puppies are special because we only have two adult females, this means we only have a few litters of puppies each year. Every one gets love, gets to watch TV with the whole family, run in the yard with kids, and learn house training. Potty training outside is started early, and crate sleeping is too. We want to raise a Miniature Schnauzer that we would be pleased to own ourselves.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include black, salt and pepper, and black and silver. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

Mazy is a super intelligent girl. It's been awhile since I've enjoyed training one as smart as she is. She is super beautiful, and has some fancy names and champion's in her background. There is a reason she is a high class lady!

About Shrek
Shrek is so much fun! He has a bubbly personality and has only friends in the world. He is a lover and a go getter. Add in his super pretty black & silver color and athletic ability he is a super star here! Still young and rambunctious, yet kind enough to be sweet with small people too. He is my young daughters best friend, and we wouldn't have it any other way. He comes from a breeding program with over 30 years of history and health testing to back them up. We are very happy Shrek is part of our family now!

About Lula
Lula is the cuddler of the family. She likes her morning romp in the yard, then she is content to spend the day on the couch cozying up to whomever will let her and begging for as much attention as she is able. Lula is a daughter of our solid black Berry and our salt & pepper Hogan. Both of them incredible Miniature Schnauzers. Hogan was our first male and he left an amazing legacy, all of his puppies were beautiful, kind and so easy to train.

Lauretta was such a great person to work with when searching for our puppy. She was very prompt at responding to any questions we had and was so helpful. I felt her number one goal was the health and wellbeing of her dogs. Since we got our little guy home he is doing so well and setting into his new home. Only got up once during the night to potty and then went right back to sleep. He does very well in the kennel and seems to enjoy exploring his new surroundings. We are definitely enjoying our newest addition to our family and cannot recommend Lauretta enough.
