Meet the breeder

I'm Lauretta H., the breeder behind Crooked Tree Ranch located in Richardton, ND. We occasionally offer AKC Miniature Schnauzers raised to breed standard and in our home. We handle them with love and care from birth, and start every single one on house training and crate training.

Q. & A. with Lauretta

  • What makes your program special?

We think our puppies are special because we only have two adult females, this means we only have a few litters of puppies each year. Every one gets love, gets to watch TV with the whole family, run in the yard with kids, and learn house training. Potty training outside is started early, and crate sleeping is too. We want to raise a Miniature Schnauzer that we would be pleased to own ourselves.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include black, salt and pepper, and black and silver. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Lauretta was such a great person to work with when searching for our puppy. She was very prompt at responding to any questions we had and was so helpful. I felt her number one goal was the health and wellbeing of her dogs. Since we got our little guy home he is doing so well and setting into his new home. Only got up once during the night to potty and then went right back to sleep. He does very well in the kennel and seems to enjoy exploring his new surroundings. We are definitely enjoying our newest addition to our family and cannot recommend Lauretta enough.

It was such a pleasant experience acquiring my puppy from Lauretta at Crooked Tree Ranch. This is my first puppy ever from a breeder! Lauretta answered all my question, so I could make a sound decision beyond the cuteness of the puppy. I also got to meet my puppy’s mom and dad at the ranch. Lauretta and her whole family are so lovely! ♥️ I highly recommend anyone looking for miniature schnauzer, consider Crooked Tree Ranch! 🥰
