I'm Karen F., the breeder behind Cross Country Corgis located in Pine Grove, WV. We are a small hobby breeder of AKC registered Pembroke Welsh Corgis. We strive to produce happy, healthy pups.
Q. & A. with Karen
Why did you start breeding?
After a combined 70 years of employment in the gas and oil industry, we reached the golden age of retirement. Finding ourselves becoming couch potatoes, we decided that we needed a hobby that would get us back on our feet. We bought our first Corgi Betty and fell in love with her so fast. We eventually got her a friend, Wilma. Soon we started our adventure into the Corgi business.
What makes your program special?
We are a small breeder. This allows us to give each puppy and dog the care and attention they deserve. These puppies are truly a part of our family. We are looking for the best possible home for each of them. We ask for vet references to ensure the new owners are trusted and able to care for their new puppy.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include fawn, red, and sable. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
