Meet the breeder

I'm Carolyn M., the breeder behind Cruz'n Golden Retrievers located in Santa Cruz, CA. We raise our dogs with love in our home. We have high expectations for our pups and strive to pair each one with a loving family. We cherish each of our dogs and puppies, and we do everything we can to make sure that they get the best lives possible. That includes everything from choosing healthy parents with good temperaments, to proper socialization and daily care, to placing them in loving homes with wonderful families I use puppy culture and ENS in my program.

Q. & A. with Carolyn

  • Why did you start breeding?

I got my first American Golden in early 90's. I showed mainly in obedience and obtained many Therapy dog titles. Only had about 1 to 2 litters per year. Now years later am diving into my favorite hobby again with excitement and enthusiasm.
  • What makes your program special?

I do ENS, ESI, Puppy culture and PAT puppy aptitude testing. I'm Breeding therapy dog temperaments and Service dog personalities. I never breed any dogs that don't pass all OFA testing nor aren't clear or normal on genetic testing.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies are light golden. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
