I'm Christi S., the breeder behind CS Cane Corso and Frenchies located in Horton, AL. Our female lives in our home and we use carefully chosen stud dogs that have passed all the health clearances. They are our family and we temperament is the absolute most important part of our breeding program.
Q. & A. with Christi
Why did you start breeding?
I am a veterinarian that has been in love with Cane Corso's for over 10 years when I rescued my first one. I knew the breed got a bad reputation for their temperaments and I saw several in my own office that had to be put down due to aggression. After that, I decided I wanted to further the breed and improve those genetics by breeding only the best temperaments.
What makes your program special?
Health, temperament and socialisation are the most important part of our program. These dogs are legitimately part of our family and are treated as such.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include black and black brindle. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
