Q. & A. with Jesse

  • Why did you start breeding?

Our journey began with a dog that changed our lives and inspired a passion for helping families experience the same bond. Today, we raise Mini Goldendoodles and Mini Bernedoodles in our Northern California home, focusing on health, temperament, early socialization, and lifelong support. Our goal is to thoughtfully match each puppy with the right family for lasting success.
  • What makes your program special?

Our puppies are raised in our home, allowing us to know every parent and puppy personally. We focus on health, temperament, early socialization, and enrichment, giving each puppy the best start possible and the best chance for a long happy life. Our goal isn't just to place puppies—it's to create lifelong matches between exceptional dogs and the families who love them.
  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

Our Goldendoodle puppies include petite and miniature sizes. Bernedoodle puppies include tiny, mini, and medium sizes. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our Goldendoodle puppies include silver, cream, apricot, red, chocolate, merle, and parti. Bernedoodle puppies include brown and white, chocolate merle, sable, tri-color, blue merle, and merle. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Jesse

Jesse has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

Jesse partners with buyers to find the best match as the puppies develop and their personalities take shape. Typically, matches are finalized when the puppies reach about 6 weeks old.

“The most successful puppy placements occur when a puppy’s natural temperament is carefully matched to a family’s lifestyle, experience, and expectations. While factors such as color, gender, and size often attract initial interest, temperament is what ultimately determines how well a puppy will fit into a home for years to come. Active puppies are typically best suited for experienced owners or families who enjoy outdoor activities, training, and an on-the-go lifestyle, as they tend to be confident, energetic, and highly engaged with their environment. Neutral puppies are often the easiest match for most households because they are adaptable, balanced, and able to transition comfortably between playtime and relaxation. These puppies generally do well with families, children, and first-time dog owners. Passive puppies are typically a wonderful fit for quieter homes, retirees, or families seeking a calm and affectionate companion, as they tend to be gentle, people-oriented, and lower in energy. When matching a puppy to a family, important considerations include the family's activity level, dog experience, household dynamics, age of children, training goals, and overall expectations. The goal is not to find the "best" puppy, but rather the puppy whose natural temperament will allow both the puppy and family to thrive together, creating a successful lifelong partnership.”
