


I'm Carey M., the breeder behind Dal's Alley Dalmatians located in Pueblo West, CO. I've had Dalmatians for as long as I can remember and I couldn't imagine my life without one! I am a preservation breeder with the goal to preserve the Dalmatian breed the way it was intended to be. I prioritize structure, health, and socialization and I strive to raise confident puppies.

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Thyroid (Autoimmune Thyroiditis, registered with OFA), Congenital Deafness (BAER, registered with OFA)
A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.
