Meet the breeder

I'm Elizabeth D., the breeder behind Dalton Family Corgis located in Birmingham, AL. Now that we’re retired, we’re able to dedicate our time to raising our puppies hands on, ensuring they are well socialized, happy, and healthy. Each puppy is raised in a loving home environment and exposed to everyday sights and sounds to help them adjust easily to their new families.

Q. & A. with Elizabeth

  • Why did you start breeding?

We’ve always had a deep love for animals, which naturally led us into breeding over the years. After raising several breeds, we eventually fell in love with Pembroke Welsh Corgis and now focus on raising them in our home.
  • What makes your program special?

As a retired couple, we are able to spend all day with our dogs and puppies, giving them constant care, attention, and socialization. Our puppies are raised in our home as part of our family, not in kennels.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
