Why did you start breeding?
In searching for my first Miniature Schnauzer, I was appalled at how people were breeding for the hobby or sport of it, or even for the profit. My research led me to want to help to increase the longevity of the breed through health testing and educated selection of breeding dogs. We strive to rid our puppies of health issues common to the breed by continually educating ourselves.
What makes your program special?
Our program is special due to the fact that our dogs are selected based on AKC standards for the breed and careful health screenings, along with carrying strong champion lines and making each dog a special part of our family.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include salt and pepper, black, and black and silver. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Brenda

Brenda has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

Brenda partners with buyers to find the best match as the puppies develop and their personalities take shape. Typically, matches are finalized when the puppies reach about 6 weeks old.

“Once puppies have been examined by our vet and have passed their exams, selections will start. Choices will be given in the order deposit is received. In the event that we do not have what you have specified, either a refund will be given or it will be transferred to our next litter.”

Price

Puppy prices include a $450 non-refundable deposit and between $1,550 - $2,050 final payment, before taxes & fees.

Brenda may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This is Eliana’s first litter as she has been working on her AKC Championship title up until now! We are so excited to meet these babies! All babies will be evaluated as show prospects up until they are 8 weeks old, so the selection process will be delayed until then. We are looking for show homes at this point but hopefully we will have some puppies available for pet homes.

Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).

Brenda is a great breeder and was quite helpful during the process of getting our new puppy. She makes sure you know what is needed for the puppy when you get them home.
