I'm Pamela D., the breeder behind Darling Aussies located in Brownsville, OR. Our farm is located in the foothills of the Willamette Valley, in Sweet Home, Oregon. Each pup is a part of our family. They are born inside our home and are cared for day and night. Our pups are loved and handled by children and adults from the time they are born. Each of them receives the love and care that is needed to help them grow into the confident dog that one day they will be. They have lots of room to roam. Why did you start breeding?
I started breeding AKC Labrador Retrievers in the beginning. I believe in raising purebreds that are calm and healthy. With great dispositions. I have also bred the Great Pyrenees as working dogs and as a pet. I have been breeding AKC Miniature Australian/American Shepherds for 9 years. I love being able to offer a well-bred dog to families.What makes your program special?
We focus on healthy and confident puppies. Spending quality time with each puppy. They truly are part of our family. I am very careful when picking the right sire for breeding to my dame. I aim for clean solid lines. With amazing confirmation. Both sire and dame must have good dispositions. My goal is to breed great family dogs. Great in the show ring, agility, and that loves being by your side.Where do your breeding dogs live?

Hereditary (Juvenile) Cataracts (HC; JC), Australian Shepherd Type, Degenerative Myelopathy (DM; SOD1A), Multiple Drug Sensitivity (MDR1), PRA, Rod-Cone Degeneration (PRA-prcd)
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
