When my wife, Cindy, and I decided to look to add a new puppy to our family we researched different breeds and came across the Coton de Tulear and were captivated. We have an older Bichon Frise and our new puppy, Contessa, has become a perfect addition. We looked at different breeders and carefully read the profiles and the stories posted for each and the puppies available. The stars aligned for us and we contacted Darryl’s Cotons de Tulear and began the process of adding Contessa (AKA Pizzaro) to our family. All through the process Linda demonstrated her integrity and care. We needed to wait since another person had contacted Linda about Pizzaro and was waiting for more photos before making her decision. The photos were shared and then our number was called when the other interested party stepped aside. I will say that we felt safe in contacting Linda through GoodDog and that the breeders listed have been well vetted and the manner by which they handle the deposit and final payment processes is secure and protects both the breeder and purchaser. My groomer had recommended GoodDog and that they weeded out “puppy mills”. Our experience with GoodDog was excellent. Linda from Darryl’s Coton de Tulear did an excellent job of preparing Pizzaro for the world. Her puppies are well cared for with complete health records and raised in a home environment with personal contact. Introductory puppy and paper training was already completed which made for a smooth transition when Contessa (formerly Pizzaro) came home with us. The intelligence of the Coton breed shines through as Contessa quickly mastered our puppy door, water and eating routines and pee pads with few exceptions. Linda’s Coton de Tulear puppies are well prepared and the extra work that Linda has put into the AKC registration process made everything run smoothly and our first visit today to our vet confirmed Contessa’s excellent health. We decided to travel to pick up Contessa so we could meet Linda have a home transition between families. It was well worth the 2,000 mile round trip. Our bonding began immediately as we shared our new adventure together. Thank you again Linda and Darryl.
