Meet the breeder

I'm Susan D., the breeder behind Davis Doodles - Atlanta located in Suwanee, GA. When our puppies go home, they are ready for family life! They are well socialized, accustomed to people of all ages including children and the elderly, and progressing well on crate and potty-training. Our small in-home program focuses on health, temperament, socialization, behavior and education!

Q. & A. with Susan

  • Why did you start breeding?

As a longtime lover of Labs and Goldens, we started thinking about other options when our daughter was diagnosed with asthma. Our Lab puppy was the breeder pick of her litter, so we obtained permission to have one litter with her. After finding a breeder of champion Standard Poodles open to Labradoodles, our first puppies opened our eyes to the joy of bringing Labradoodles to other families.
  • What makes your program special?

We focus on breeding healthy, temperamentally-sound puppies that are well-socialized in an enriched environment of love. We educate our puppy families about the various stages of puppyhood and support them for the life of the dog. Our practices ensure well-adjusted, loving companions for special families from all walks of life, as well as creating numerous therapy and service dogs over the years.
  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

Our puppies include miniature, medium, and standard sizes. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

They live in my home and guardian homes.
