Meet the breeder

I'm Nick D., the breeder behind Davis's Golden Retrievers located in Festus, MO. While my parents have been breeding golden retrievers for some time, this is our family's 1st litter. We are dedicated to building the breed by ensuring breed standards are passed down with each of our litters. These puppies live in our home and are played with/cared for daily.

Q. & A. with Nick

  • Why did you start breeding?

While my parents have been breeding goldens for some time, this is our first litter. These puppies are AKC registered with OFA clearances and come from a championship line.
  • What makes your program special?

I think my wife may love these puppies a little too much. I will do my best to convince her we can't keep all of these dogs. Goldens are great family dogs. We have 2 adult females and they each have unique personalities.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
