I'm Georgia H., the breeder behind Daynakin Great Danes LLC located in Ferndale, WA. We feel that a quality purebred dog is a combination of classic good looks, proper temperament, good health and a knowledgeable breeder who strives to do the best job possible. We have been actively showing and breeding since 1974. Dogs of our breeding are loved family companions, competitive show dogs, perform in agility, rally, Fast Cat and other sports. They are therapy dogs and support dogs. A proper Dane is versatile and is equally comfortable cuddling on the couch or going for a hike.
Q. & A. with Georgia
Why did you start breeding?
My first Dane was a companion, but I did show him a bit. This was my introduction into the show world. I obtained a second Dane, a bitch, began showing her and then later bred her. I kept one of her puppies and the rest is history.
What makes your program special?
My long term knowledge of my dogs, the breed in general, and the fact I strive to do the best job possible in producing happy, healthy and pretty Great Danes.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home and guardian homes.
