Breeder of Cane Corso

Meet the breeder

I'm Bianca S., the breeder behind De Novo Cane Corso located in Assumption, IL. We have limited breedings that are carefully planned based on health, temperament and correct structure foremost. All of our dogs are health tested prior to breeding and we participate in AKC Conformation, Obedience and Nosework. All of our puppies are raised inside our home and we use ENS, Puppy Culture, Desensitizing, Enrichment, socialization as well as basic training. We strive to provide every puppy with the best head start before going home. Prior to leaving every puppy is temperament tested to match the best puppy for every family and their needs. All dog/ puppies are AKC registered, tails docked, crops if the family desires, microchipped, vaccinated, and health certifications if traveling. Every puppy produced here will have a health guarantee and temperament guarantee as well as lifetime breeder support.

Q. & A. with Bianca

  • Why did you start breeding?

I met my first Corso while I was grooming at a local boarding facility over 10 years ago. I spent a year researching the breed and breeders before I finally decided on a breeder where I acquired a retired female named Rene. I fell head over heels for the breed and wanted to preserve and protect the dogs which I have become to love. After time I developed a close relationship with my now breeder/mentor and acquired my first co-own bitch named Livia. We dabbled in showing, Nosework and obedience and after doing all the necessary things required of me and after all her health testing was done she had her(and my) first litter in April of 2020.
  • What makes your program special?

I strive to produce sound heath and temperaments. I health test all of my dogs prior to breeding as well as temperament test every puppy to match them to a family that best fits them both. I pride myself in being a breeder that does what is best for the breed and dogs first. Every puppy I produce here I take great care to ensure it is receiving the best start to his/her life. We follow a few different protocols for this. I also spend countless hours talking with every prospective family to ensure they are well educated and will be the best fit for the breed.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
