I'm Jenna W., the breeder behind Debonair Beagles located in Mindenmines, MO. Our beagles are bred to be healthy and socialized. Having 30 yrs within the pet industry I know the importance of healthy socialized parents and that the first 8 wks in a puppies life is the critical socializing period for a happy well adjusted family member.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    My late husband and I raised beagles and shih tzus for 18+ years since I was a stay home mom. I married into a beagle hunting family but fell in love with shih tzus back in 1997. My mom Pamela started Good Fortune shih tzu where I joined with her right before her passing in 2023. Now Mike and myself are carrying on the tradition by offering healthy pre spoiled beagles under the Debonair name once again.

  • What makes your program special?

    Most people have the opportunity to have a few dogs in their lifetime that they love. We strive through health and early socialization to offer that "once in a lifetime" pet. The one with extra personality and special bond to their people.

  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

    Our puppies include 13-inch and 15-inch sizes. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies are black tan and white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Jenna

Jenna has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

After buyers complete the application and screening process, Jenna partners with them to find the best puppy match.

“We take great pride in matching the perfect puppy for each family. Normally around 6 wks. we can see which puppy will he a good fit for each family. ”

Price

Puppy prices include a $200 deposit and between $750 - $1,750 final payment, before taxes & fees.
Pay over time with Klarna.

“Price includes vet exam, wormings, 2 sets of shots minimum and $950(no reg) $1500 with Apri registration. AKC registration $1900. Puppies price depends on color and size. If you have selected a puppy and less than 8 wks you may move your deposit to another puppy if you decide on another one instead.”

Contract & health guarantee

Jenna may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.   • Eye Examination (rDVM, not registered with OFA)

    Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.

    Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
