Breeder of French Bulldogs

Meet the breeder

I'm Cynthia P., the breeder behind Delavan Sisters French Bulldogs located in Grand Rapids, MI. Happy, healthy, structurally sound dogs is our top priority! We are committed to ethical breeding practices with the wellbeing of our dogs being the most important consideration. All of our breeding dogs are genetically tested, pass Orthopedic Foundation for Animals recommended health screenings, and are confirmed to be healthy and appropriate for breeding by our veterinarians. They are part of our families, live in our homes, sleep in our beds, and are LOVED! Pups all receive top quality veterinary care with routine puppy wellness checks and vaccines/deworming. Genetic testing for common hereditary French Bulldog diseases is completed prior to adoption, and each pup comes with their medical and genetic records and veterinary health certificate. Our promise of a healthy puppy is backed up by a 2 year health guarantee against congenital or inherited diseases. All puppies are raised in our home and go through assistance dog recommended socialization techniques and personality testing prior to placement. Pups are eligible for AKC registration and placed with spay/neuter contracts.

Q. & A. with Cynthia

  • Why did you start breeding?

One Frenchie pup for the Boy, then a littermate girl for the Twins, thus began our love affair with this wonderful breed… …and as we soon discovered, once the Frenchie addiction begins, you can’t have just one. Elissa, having decades of experience breeding, raising, and working top show and pet Alaskan Malamutes, planted the seed of spreading our love for these fun, snuggly little dogs by breeding quality companion French Bulldogs.
  • What makes your program special?

We strive to breed the healthiest and most loving French Bulldogs who will become cherished members of their new families. All pups are raised in our homes and socialized using techniques recommended for guide dog programs. Parents pass OFA screening and are genetically clear of common French Bulldog inherited conditions. Pups come with a 2 year health guarantee, genetic testing, personality test, and lifelong breeder support.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include fawn, white and fawn, liver, black and white, brindle and white, and blue. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
