I'm Silvia B., the breeder behind Denali Golden Retrievers located in Anchorage, AK. Our puppies are raised with love and care, ensuring that they are well-socialized and ready to become a cherished member of your family. We take great pride in our breeding program and are committed to producing high-quality Golden Retrievers that will make wonderful companions for years to come.
Q. & A. with Silvia
Why did you start breeding?
My first Alaskan Golden Retriever, Myla, turned out to be an exceptional female and it was my veterinarian who suggested breeding her.
I know there are many families that admire this breed for the same reasons I do.
What makes your program special?
Although I have been breeding for well over 20 years, I am not a professional breeder and only breed when I can ensure a good pairing. The mom's health, happiness, and well-being are always my top priority, and I give my females long breaks between litters. I don't breed show dogs - my clients are looking for family dogs, companions, and therapy dogs.
Multiple dogs of mine have been Pet Partner certified Therapy dogs.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies are golden. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
