Meet the breeder

I'm Lauren and Cory Denzil H., the breeder behind Denzil’s Goldens located in Tonasket, WA. We are proud to be ethical Golden Retriever breeders. Our dogs and puppies are family too, and we give each pup all the loving care possible to prepare them for their forever homes. We are proud of our program and our efforts to responsibly provide healthy, even-keeled Goldens to future generations.

Q. & A. with Lauren and Cory Denzil

  • Why did you start breeding?

From Cory’s first Golden Sugar, as a child, we have both always loved the breed. As adults we learned more about Goldens, and as we developed a quality breeding program, we continued and continue to strive to further the breed with healthy, sound, well bred pups.
  • What makes your program special?

We temperament test every puppy produced by our breeding program, carefully helping chose each puppy’s forever home. We have 3 children, Maine Coon kittens, cows and a small hobby farm on 10 acres in the beautiful PNW. Our pups receive exceptional socialization, with many components of Puppy Culture and ENS involved. We offer lifetime breeder support, and a 3 year health guarantee.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include dark golden, golden, and light golden. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

They live in my home and guardian homes.

I can’t recommend working with Lauren and Cory enough! They were so great on answering all of my in-depth questions, willing to work through some of my odd requests, and overall just very kind and generous with their time for me and their puppies. From figuring out which litter was going to have parents that suited the personality traits that I was looking for best, to organizing the pick up process and information, it was smooth sailing every step of the way. Glory, my puppy from them from their scout and Molly litter has been an absolute joy so far! She just reached her five month milestone, and is doing so well! Her health is solid, she’s smart and cuddly, and pretty much everything you would want from your golden retriever puppy, even those raptor sharp teeth are pretty cute! They did a great job with temperament testing and matching puppy to house! Would definitely buy another puppy from them in the future!

Lauren and Cory were wonderful. We had contacted them on a Thursday evening regarding Miss Yellow and found out that she was available and that they would be coming to a location closer to our home on Saturday and they would bring Miss Yellow with the other puppies going home. They worked with us and answered all our questions in a short period of time. When we arrived at the meeting spot, they had everything ready for us and our sweet girl was being held just waiting for us. They had all her information ready to go and we were off. I couldn't have asked for a better experience!
