Meet the breeder
I'm Debby H., the breeder behind Derbyville Havapoos located in Louisville, KY. We are hobby breeders who focus on raising healthy, super social puppies from the start. Our puppies are socialized around grandkids and their dog sister from the start, so they are immediately ready to fit right into your family.
Q. & A. with Debby
Why did you start breeding?
When my children were younger, we had a Wire Fox Terrier that we loved and decided to breed. She had 2 litters of puppies (1988 & 1990) and it was a great experience for the kids. Since then, when the timing works and we have an especially lovable dog, we will breed them for the unique experience for the kids and grandkids-and to share what we think are extremely behaved, lovable pups with others. What makes your program special?
Our family has only bred 4 dogs over 30 years. These dogs have been, first and foremost, our family and we only bred them because after raising them and getting to know their personalities, we thought they would be great dogs to share with others. We take breeding seriously when we do it, but all the dogs we've bred over the years have been our family first and are raised to be great with kids. What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include chocolate, black and tan brindle, fawn, and black. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

About Fozzie
Fozzie is the perfect mix of playful and cuddly. She is always ready for a walk or a round of zoomies, but more than anything she loves to settle down right beside (or on) you and snuggle. She is without a doubt the most affectionate of the many dogs I've owned over the years.
