I'm Angelee A., the breeder behind Deseret Peak Goldens located in Utah. We strive to produce healthy, intelligent, beautiful puppies. All parents are AKC registered, have had health testing, and are well behaved and very loved family members.
Q. & A. with Angelee
Why did you start breeding?
I grew up with a family that bred and showed quality AKC Beagles. So from a young age I have been taught how to raise and care for healthy, beautiful dogs. When I was a young adult I purchased my first Golden Retriever and I have been passionate about the breed ever since.
What makes your program special?
We try to focus on quality, not quantity. We are knowledgeable and experienced, but are not a large kennel by any means. We produce only a few litters a year, and our dogs are family members first. Each parent either lives with us or is in a wonderful guardian home so that they each get the love and life they deserve! We find so much joy in sharing our love for these special dogs, and placing puppies with their new homes.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include dark golden, golden, and light golden. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home and guardian homes.

Sunny, mom
Golden Retriever
About Sunny
AKC NUMBER: SS28532811
Sunny is a very sweet and kind hearted Golden. She is the peacemaker, with high patience for puppies, other dogs, and children. She doesn't have an aggressive bone in her body. She will patiently wait next to you, and gently put one paw on your leg for pets. She is petite, and has a true golden color. She is a phenomenal momma.
Sunny's lineage and health testing history:
Her parents are from Teton River Golden's with lines from Idaho and Tennessee. Her parents are
AKC Registered, Pennhip, and OFA HIPS, ELBOW, & HEART certified. They are healthy and also clear on all Genetic Diseases through EMBARK. Sunny has clear genetics through parentage. Her puppies have zero history of any health or generic disorders or issues.
Rae, mom
Golden Retriever
About Rae
Rae is such an enjoyable dog to be around, and she is wonderful with children. She has a very soft dark red coat and beautiful expressive eyes. She is very smart and obedient, and is good to stay by our side and come on outings and when off leash. Rae is a fabulous momma. Both of her parents have passed OFA with Good and normal ratings and she has clear genetics through parentage.
Henry, dad
Golden Retriever
About Henry
Henry is a special boy with a pedigree imported from Ukraine. We feel very lucky to have him in our program! He is a larger athletic boy, weighing 75-80lbs. He has a beautiful blocky head, a nice balanced body, a nice gaite or prance when he walks. He is so loving and sweet, and has a friendly and happy disposition. He is wonderful with other dogs and even intact males. He is a smart, good boy, and we absolutely adore him.
Health testing:
OFA HIPS: EXCELLENT SCORE
OFA ELBOWS: NORMAL
GENETIC PANEL: CLEAR
Koda, mom
Golden Retriever
About Koda
We love our sweet Koda bear! She is very gentle, loving, obedient, and is a wonderful momma. She loves to give kisses to say thank you, and enjoys affection. She does really well around children and will stay by your side on outings. Koda has a beautiful soft coat and blocky head, with a very expressive face. She comes from beautiful imported European lines. Both of her parents have CLEAR genetics results, so she does as well through parentage. Her reproductive evaluation with our vet went smoothly and zero concerns. Her full sister and littermate passed OFA with Good hip and normal elbow results. Her OFA hips and elbows are pending as we recently acquired her.
Chance, dad
Golden Retriever
About Chance
LOVES being in the water. If we turn on the hose in the backyard, he will try to be sneaky and crawl underneath the stream of water and lay under it, then lay on his back with his feet in the air while we soak him. He's a fish. He is a very sweet and a very affectionate boy. He will lay on your lap if you let him. He is good with children. Another funny quirk is that he will always put the leash in his mouth on walks because he is "walking us", not the other way around. He is eager to please and do as we ask and is a smart boy. He has a beautiful and SOFT dark red coat and a nice blocky head.
His health testing has all come back fantastic. CLEAR genetics, GOOD hips, GOOD eye clearances, NORMAL hips. We LOVE him and his puppies so much.

Angelee was amazing, we saw our pup and instantly fell in love. I was worried that because he was so cute that the price would be steep especially because he is a Pure Golden, this was not the case. The price was great, her responsiveness was so helpful and calming during the whole process and on top of that she set us up with an amazing flight nanny that got us our little guy home safe and sound as soon as he was ready. I definitely would recommend a puppy from her if you want an extremely easy experience when it comes to the buying and delivery process.
As for the puppy, his name is Goose and he is incredible he was potty trained in 2 days and has been so good with everybody we brought him around. Angelee sent us the link for his puppy food and for recommendations on what to do how to feed him and when and what things to get for a new puppy and made the whole process so easy. Our Goose is full of life healthy and extremely smart and on top of that he is SO CUTE, I would absolutely contribute how good he is to Angelee making sure he was taken care of from the start. She also showed us his baby pictures and sent us a ton of them because my girlfriend would not stop asking for pictures.
Our Goose is doing well now and honestly me and my girlfriend have talked about getting another one in maybe a year or less. If we do end up deciding that we will definitely be going to Angelee for another happy, healthy and amazing Golden!

Angelee was so great to work with. She answered my questions promptly. Gave us ideas on where to find things for a new puppy. I can tell that she spent a lot of time with the dogs as puppies. My Cooper is very smart and has learned many new skills in a short time. He is everything I was looking for and very handsome. Angelee made making the decision to purchase without seeing him in person very comfortable. I would purchase from her again.

Angelee was completely amazing! It's the night of Christmas eve when my husband tells me to look for my dream dog because that's what he was getting me. So I'm anxious and excited looking everywhere for a golden pup and it's Christmas eve by this point most of them were reserved. I ran into 3 breeders whose profiles said they had available puppies so I message all three at 9pm 12 minuets later there was Ms. Angelee letting me know (Zeus) listed as light blue was still available and gave me a bit of info on his personality and social skills and her contact info. We picked up Zeus on the 27th but from day 1 to pick up day Angelee was there to answer my questions and provide any and all information she had. She's simply amazing and would be happy to work with her again.
