Meet the breeder

I'm Jessica D., the breeder behind Desert Diamond Poodles located in Phoenix, AZ. We health test and OFA all of our breeding dogs. Our puppies are bred for health, temperament and structure. They can be great therapy/service dogs. Our dogs are dual registered in both AKC and UKC. We are currently showing our poodles in both to obtain their championship title.

Q. & A. with Jessica

  • Why did you start breeding?

Started breeding papillons as they were cute little travel companions with lots of personality and love. Bred them for many years with a friend. Then I got my first standard poodle and was hooked. I want to help preserve this historic breed that is smart and very versatile.
  • What makes your program special?

We put a lot of time and love into every litter we produce. They are raised with me in my home. I do work from home so I can give every puppy love and attention daily. They are raised with ENS, ESI, and puppy culture. They are also seen by the best reproduction vets in the state. They get a thorough exam when they go in for vaccines and for tail docking/dew claw removal at 1-3 days old.
  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

Our puppies include toy and standard sizes. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include sable, black, blue, cream, silver, white, and phantom. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

They live in my home and guardian homes.
