I'm Gianna L., the breeder behind Desert Dusted Poodles located in Queen Creek, AZ. Our dogs are bred for loving homes who truly care about every aspect of owning a dog. We produce dogs with amazing stable temperaments, good for potential service or therapy prospects.

Why did you start breeding?
I fell in love with the poodle breed after bringing home my girl Harlow and decided I wanted to take her into therapy work. Since then we have dedicated our time to breeding proven and health tested AKC lines to preserve the breed and focus on breed standards.
What makes your program special?
I offer training programs for all my puppies. They are all are sent home with kennel and potty training started and we offer training and lifetime support on every puppy we send home. All puppies are sent home on high quality, well researched food good for growth and development.
What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our puppies include toy, miniature, moyen, and standard sizes. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include apricot, black, brown, cream, red, white, parti, and phantom. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Gianna

Gianna has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

After buyers complete the application and screening process, Gianna partners with them to find the best puppy match.

Price

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $1,500 - $3,000 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“This price includes vaccinations, vet check up, microchips, puppy go home package, and lifetime breeder support. Puppies are sent home with limited AKC registration unless otherwise specified. All puppies are microchipped, vet checked, Tails and dew claws removed unless requested otherwise, All dogs come from health tested and proven lines, and are sent home with limited AKC registration.”

Gianna may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. Hip Dysplasia (rDVM, not registered)
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia (rDVM, not registered)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Vet Wellness Exam
A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.
DNA Disease Panel
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
