I'm Krista M., the breeder behind Desert Ridge Doodles located in Maricopa, AZ. At Desert Ridge Doodles we strive to produce resilient, healthy puppies with loving temperaments. We are lifelong dog owners and we love breeding your next family member!

Why did you start breeding?
I started my program in 2024 after adopting a very special Poodle named Gracie, and knowing shortly thereafter I wanted to try my hand at breeding. I’ve had the pleasure of owning our sire as my personal dog for the last 7 years, and his personality combined with his health qualities made him a perfect choice for breeding. We currently have 6 poodles in our program!What makes your program special?
My goal has always been to provide an excellent foundation to the puppies I produce and health test as much as possible. They in turn, can go on to live happy, fulfilled lives and be the easiest, healthiest dogs to own for their future families. I'm well-versed in all aspects of owning a dog and I'll be there for the long haul if you have any questions or need help with training.What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our Bernedoodle puppies include tiny, mini, medium, and standard sizes. Goldendoodle puppies include miniature, medium, and standard sizes. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our Bernedoodle puppies include brown and white, brown, black and white, tri-color, phantom, blue merle, and merle. Goldendoodle puppies include cream, apricot, red, chocolate, black, phantom, merle, and parti. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?

Krista partners with buyers to find the best match as the puppies develop and their personalities take shape.
"We take great care in matching our puppies to the right families. We start matching puppies at 5 weeks with our waitlist families based on temperament. Once that process is complete we match puppies by application and if you’re a good fit for that specific puppy."

"Our price includes a puppy go-home pack, deworming, vaccines + health guarantee. Deposit required to get on our waitlist or to reserve a puppy. Deposits can be transferred to another puppy or litter at any time."

Litter update on 28 Feb •I can’t believe Mustang hasn’t found his family yet 💔 I rarely have pups left by the 8 week mark, especially ones as well mannered as Mustang. He’s the smallest boy in this litter and I will be shocked if he gets bigger than 30lbs. Mustang LOVES to play and be silly. His favorite activity is getting the zooms and he loves his siblings dearly! If you’re looking for a pint-sized best friend, Mustang may be the one for you 😉

This week we are moving into a larger area so they can really run and play more, and so their sweet mom can have a break and start weaning. Everyone is growing beautifully and I’ve enjoying seeing their little personalities start to sparkle ✨ Our 3 remaining boys are Friesian, Pinto and Mustang ❤️

Apple, Pumpkin and Harvest turn 8 weeks this Friday and will be ready to head home anytime after that ☺️ We have transport plans coming up in nearby states if you don’t live in Arizona. Dolly is one of the most loving moms in our program. She’s sweet, loves to play with her friends, and enjoys snuggles any chance she gets! We love her devotion to her owners, willingness to try new things and adapt to any challenge. Dolly is a Multigen Goldendoodle and will be bred with our stud Nash to create our first litter of English Cream Goldendoodles!

Molly is our sassy and fun CKC Registered Moyen Poodle. While she stands on the petite side, she’s the whole package! Exceptionally smart, athletic, and balanced. Molly is highly trainable and enjoys time outdoors with our other dogs. She was the very best mom to her first litter, and we are always impressed with the love and dedication she shows her puppies. Her first litter turned out incredible, sweet, gentle and quiet. We are using the same dad for a repeat pairing and can't wait to meet her new brood in a few short weeks!

About Nash
Nash is everyone's favorite! He's everything you look for in a Golden Retriever + then some. Full of personality, sweet to his people + kids, and loves other dogs. Owning him as my first dog showed me what a well-bred dog truly is and the difference it makes. We are blessed to have him as a sire and can't wait to pass on his best traits to his puppies. Nash's favorite toys are anything soft + chewy, he adores marrow bones + kongs, and just wants to be on your lap every second he can!

Stella is the sweetest, sassiest girl! She's the queen of giving side-eye, and loves meal time. Stella is super easy to walk on the leash, listens well, and has perfect house manners. She passes all these amazing qualities on to her puppies and we are beyond thrilled to have her in our program! Stella's favorite toys are rubber chew toys or Nylabones, she loves bathtime and get exceptionally excited for dinner!

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
DNA Disease Panel
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).

After a month I saw the litter Krista had posted and instantly knew that the little puppy “Breck” would be the perfect dog to help with hole in my heart. Krista was quick to respond, answering all my questions and concerns. She made the whole process a breeze. Being in Colorado, driving to Phoenix was a little much. Krista happily agreed to meet part way. We wanted to get an early start back home and Krista made that happen, she met us at our hotel at 5 in morning.
